Pray For The Less Fortunate

Jesus chastised the Pharisees from growing fat from the expense of widows.  Matthew 23:14 reads: 

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

For you devour widows’ houses,

and for a pretense make long prayers.

Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

Pray that our nation does what it can to continue to help the poor, the sick, and the lost.  Being the faithful Nation that we are, you would think we knew by now that God would take care of our country's financial problems.  But we have to continue doing His will for the less fortunate.  Have we truly lost our faith?  Surely we do not feel that a political party can solve our problems.  Really??? God has not left us.  We need only to seek Him as a Nation.
